Jessica Alba is Campaigning About Education for Children in South Africa

Behind the pomp and welcoming spirit of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, Jessica Alba even describe the other side of the countries in the Black Continent. The Star of ‘Fantastic Four’ that describes the education of children in South Africa is still retarded.

Wednesday (04/21/2010), Alba along with United States congressmen visited South Africa. They went to Africa in order to campaign for a charity event called ’1 Goal ‘.

Not only that Alba visited South Africa, he also step foot in Ghana and Senegal. There, Alba visited the school and the football foundation and gives some purpose to the school.

“It’s difficult for me to believe, 72 million children in the world do not get proper education. The most frightening 60 percent of them are in Africa,” Alba said as quoted by Female First, Friday (23/04/2010).

Alba is not just to Africa, he also tried to learn a lot from the unfortunate situation in that country. Alba hopes millions of people who will watch the World Cup in South Africa care about the state of African education.

“Millions of people will be watching South Africa to host the World Cup. We’re asking people around the world to pay attention to 72 million children out of school and called us all,” hope Alba.
