A grand concert will be held to commemorate 70 years of the birth of the late John Lennon. Concert held in New York that will spread the legacy of Lennon’s advice-advice about peace.
Concert planned to be held on November 12, 2010 in Beacon Teather, New York, United States. The concert will be played back to the works of former vocalist of The Beatles that.
As reported by the BBC on Thursday (09/16/2010), some musicians will also be helped enliven the concert. Among them are Jackson Browne, Patti Smith, Aimee Mann and Cyndi Lauper.
The concert will be the culmination late Lennon’s birthday anniversary of the 70th. Previously Lennon birth anniversary were also held in several places.
One of them, Lennon’s widow, Yoko Ono, Lennon’s birth anniversary will come to Vioey Island, Iceland. In there, Ono would light the lamp of peace in the Imagine Peace Tower. Ono is also planning to bring together the work of Lennon’s Plastic Ono Band and Lady Gaga in Los Angeles.
