Russell Crowe is rumored to be involved in the production of the film ‘Superman: Man of Steel’. Russell will portray Jor-El, Superman’s biological father from the planet Krypton.
As reported by Aceshowbiz on Thursday (06/16/2011), he is still negotiating with Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures. Russel figure is considered appropriate to act as Jor-El.
So far, several stars that already confirmed involved in ‘Superman: Man of Steel’ are Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, and Michael Shannon. Kevin Costner will play a role as Clark Kent’s adoptive father, Jonathan Kent.
Zack Snyder lined up to star as a director, while the screenplay is done by David S. Goye. Christopher Nolan is known through the ‘Inception’ will work as producer.
Based on plan, ‘The Man of Steel’ will begin work on next June in Vancouver, Canada. The film is scheduled for release in U.S. theaters in November 2012.
